We offer many different treatment methods and services for our patients and the community. From treating acute low back pain patients to running strength and conditioning programs for high school athletes, Lakeside Chiropractic has a wide reach. You can be assured we will find what works for you.
What We Do
Chiropractic Care

Adjustments
We check every joint, from foot to head, at each visit because your whole body is connected and works together. As a result, we choose to treat it that way. Our office utilizes manual adjustments, mobilizations, instruments, drop pieces, and blocking depending on the patient’s needs and preference.
Spinal (Neck and Back)
Your neck (cervical spine), mid-back (thoracic spine), ribs, low back (lumbar spine), pelvis, and tailbone (sacrum) are all considered part of your spine. These areas of your spine create the support needed for your body as well as protect the spinal cord. Undoubtably, it is important to keep it strong and mobile throughout your life.
Extremity (Arms and Legs)
Your arms (shoulders, elbows, wrists, and fingers) and legs (toes, feet, ankle, knees, and hips) are equally as important as the spine. Many people don’t know chiropractors are able to treat these areas of your body. We use our arms and legs to interact with the world, therefore, we need to take care of them too.
Soft Tissue Therapy

Muscle Release
This is a gentle, constant massage technique that is used to improve range of motion, reduce muscle tension, pain, and stiffness. It is used in combination of other service all and is incorporated into each visit depending on each patient’s concern.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is alternative therapeutic therapy that uses cups to pull on the skin upward creating a vacuum on the skin and underlying tissues. This aims to reduce pain, relax muscles, and promotes blood flow to specific area.
Tool Assisted
Also, know as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). This aims address soft tissue restrictions or dysfunction. It can help reduce pain, improve range of motion, and support recovery by facilitating the body’s natural healing process.
Performance/Rehab

Therapeutic/Rehab Exercise
Each patient receives exercises to help support the work we do in the office. Therapeutic/rehab exercises are designed to reduce pain, improve physical function, and reduce the risk of future injuries.
Exercise Programming
This is the next step after therapeutic and rehabilitation exercises. We have worked with marathon runners, golfers, wrestlers, hockey players, soccer players, basketball players, cross fit athletes, and more. The initial goal is to build a strong foundation of the basics movements (Squat, Hinge, Press, and Pull) and then utilized strength and conditioning principles like progressive overload, specificity, recovery, and periodization to support the patients individual goals.
Teams/Individuals
Our goal is support all individuals and teams with our knowledge of physical rehabilitation and strength and conditioning principles to build stronger, faster, and higher performing athletes. If you are looking for a qualified professional to support your athletes needs in or out of season, we are here to help!
Lifestyle

Risk Factor Modification
Our goal is help you assess your modifiable risk factors and understand where you may need improvement to prevent or delay the onset of chronic disease, such as heart disease, cancer, and/or diabetes. These include lifestyle factors like smoking, physical activity, stress, diet, hydration, and sleep. We aim to educate, support, and bring awareness to how these can have a large impact on your short and long term health.
